A Day in the Life

What a Route Actually Looks Like

No guesswork. Here's a typical day out on a Regulux route.

Arrive at the depot

Check in, collect your manifest and load your van. Parcels are already sorted for your area.

On the road

Navigation takes you stop to stop. Routes are built to be efficient — tight loops, not long drives between drops.

Delivering

Scan, deliver, photograph. The app handles it all. It's straightforward from your first day.

Route complete

Return any undelivered parcels to the depot. Routes are designed to finish at a reasonable time so you can get on with your day.

How much can I earn?
Base route rates are £166/day for a SWB van and £175/day for a LWB van, with a BYOD allowance included. When your depot hits the Fantastic scorecard you earn up to 6p per parcel on top, taking a route up to £208.56. Training days are paid at £128.70.
Do I need experience?
No. Many of our drivers started with no delivery experience. Onboarding includes a paid training day and you'll be supported until you're confident on the road.
Can I rent a van through Regulux?
Yes. SWB vans are £222/week and LWB vans £246/week, both including courier insurance, on a 6-day hire with the 7th day free. The cost is deducted from your weekly invoice — no upfront payment.
Am I employed or self-employed?
You work with us as a self-employed delivery driver. We self-bill on your behalf, so you get the flexibility of self-employment without the invoicing admin.
How do I get paid?
Weekly, straight to your bank. We generate the invoice for you — you never need to raise one or chase a payment.
How many days a week do I work?
Most drivers run routes 4–6 days a week. Tell us your availability when you apply and we'll match you with a schedule at your depot.
Which depots are you recruiting at?
All six: DNG1 Coalville, DNG2 Derby, DHU2 Hull, DBI7 Lutterworth, DNE2 Newcastle and DPN1 Carlisle.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically less than a week from application to your first route, including document checks and a paid training day at £128.70.
